It wasn’t supposed to end this way. When John and Mary Harper (names changed) moved their family to a spiritually dark corner of Central Asia to share the Gospel, they thought they’d be there forever. God had other plans. At 41, Mary was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), forcing the Harpers to leave “their” people and return to the United States. But not before the Lord used them to make an indelible mark in Jesus’ name.
